Maria Bartiromo - the American television journalist and broadcaster who was one of the very first to broadcast live directly through the New York Stock Exchange - is known for several of her highly successful shows. With over twenty years experience as a journalist, Bartiromo was instrumental in establishing the television channel CNBC to be one of most prominent in economic and business reporting. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn, an American actress who has worked in TV and film, and theatre. She's been a professional actor for 27 years. Her first appearance on the stage as an actor in a 1990 production of The Big Funk (John Patrick Shanley) Off-Broadway. In the following year she was chosen for her first role on TV in The Perfect Tribute. The big break in her professional career happened in 1992 when she played a supporting character in the film Basic Instinct. The Firm is where she made her debut as the female star in the film alongside Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman. Through the 1990s her career included working alongside top Hollywood actors such as Gwyneth on Sliding Doors, Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes, and Julie Andrews Relative Values. She portrayed the role of Dr. Alex Blake on the well-known international crime show Criminal Minds.
