Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. Her sisters, who were younger than her, took care of her, however Graham was frequently bullied at schools due to her larger thighs. The attention deficit disorder of Graham (ADH) was first diagnosed shortly after she finished elementary school. Graham was diagnosed as having attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (A.D.H.D.) shortly after finishing elementary school. Graham was spotted in Nebraska by a talent agency in her early teens. However, she was always told that it would be impossible for her to advance beyond smaller projects. However, she managed to disprove the session casters as her career progressed quickly. In 2007, she was interviewed by Sally Singer of "Vogue" magazine, which gave her one of her first major break-throughs. She appeared as a model in "Glamour Magazine" article "These Bodies are Beautiful at Any Size". Graham was in the news for the second time in 2009 as she appeared in a controversy-making Lane Bryant commercial that ultimately was struck down in a number of countries. At the time that the advertisement was pulled from YouTube and was removed from the site, it had been viewed over 800,000. The situation grew unbearable and she addressed it on"Tonight Show "Tonight show" host by Jay Leno. Graham was soon a well-known Plus-sized model. Grande began singing and acting at a very early age. In 2008, she got a part on the Broadway show 13 before she began to appear on TV in smaller roles. The year 2010 brought her first big break when she got a role on the Nickelodeon show Victorious. The show featured her as Cat Valentine a teenage girl studying at a school for performing arts. The sitcom was cancelled in 2013 and she starred on the sequel, Sam & Cat.
